Brenda Cancilla, President/Co-Founder of KSPT

Meet Brenda

I was a single mother until my son turned 18. During that time, I served as a Scout Leader for 9 years and an assistant band director for 4 years. At age 50, I married my soulmate—proof that good things come to those who wait! My perfect family now includes 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren, and our beloved Bishpoo, Snickers.

About six years ago, my best friend and I started our own paranormal investigation team. Driven by curiosity about whether what I saw on TV was real and a desire to explore the possibility of life after death, I dove into the world of paranormal investigations. My favorite equipment includes the Fent Spirit box, the REM pod, and my trusty voice recorder. I rely on my equipment because I only trust what I personally experience and capture using my equipment.

The Parkside, Madison, and Fairfield County Infirmary are my favorite places to investigate, as I’ve encountered some of the most unexplainable activities there.

Meet Stacey

I work as an HR representative for a manufacturing company. I’ve been happily married for 30 years to my high school sweetheart and we have two adult sons who are both married. I’m also a proud grandma of two beautiful granddaughters.

My journey into paranormal investigation began with my best friend which we both discovered a desire to answer some of the burning questions: Are ghosts real? What happens after we pass on? I have a passion for learning about the history of the places we investigate, especially old, abandoned locations. My favorite piece of paranormal equipment is my Fent Spirit box, and I also love using my recorder. As an empath, I use my abilities to sense the energy within a room or building.

Some of my favorite places to investigate include local establishments like The Parkside and Madison Seminary in Madison, Ohio. However, my absolute favorite places to investigate are right here in my hometown. What started as a hobby has now become a deeper passion, and I’m eager to explore even more.

Brittany Wilson, Static Medium

Meet Brittany

I’m currently a chef at a casino and have been married for 9 years. Life is busy with 3 dogs and 2 kids—a real handful! I became a paranormal investigator because I believe there’s something out there, and I want to find out what it is.

Interestingly, my favorite piece of equipment is myself! Due to my energy setting off other devices, the only equipment I’m allowed to use is a spirit box. My favorite place to investigate is Madison Seminary. As a static medium, I find it fascinating to explore and uncover the unknown.

I’m retired and blessed with a wonderful family: three children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren! As an evidential psychic medium, I have the unique ability to connect with the spirit world. My sister can see the deceased, and both my daughter and granddaughter share this extraordinary gift. My mission is to gather proof of life after death, believing firmly that God has a plan for everyone. I don’t rely on equipment because I am the equipment.

My favorite places to investigate are Madison Seminary and The Parkside. I often wander off on my own during investigations, as I find I can pick up on energies more effectively this way.

Chad Owens, Paranormal Investigator

Meet Chad

I’m an Asset Manager, happily married with five children and one grandchild. As a 22-year Army veteran, I bring a disciplined approach to my hobbies, which include camping, hunting, and drawing/painting. I have a deep interest in the unknown, particularly the history of places and people, and I love to communicate with them. That spooky feeling is something I seek out.

One of my favorite pieces of paranormal equipment is the Structured Light Sensor (SLS) camera.

My preferred investigation sites are asylums, old hospitals, and old prisons—anywhere steeped in history.
